Session 4: Encounters on the Glory Run Road and a New Job

General Summary

As Geralt Daturai  and Yinra Emberwind  departed from Hupperdook , they embarked on the Glory Run road, their destination set for the Crispvale Thicket . Along their journey, a peculiar sight caught Geralt's attention—a small, unfamiliar firbolg child in distress, seemingly kidnapped. Without hesitation, they rushed to the child's aid, but they were not alone in their noble endeavor. The child's mother, Nila of the Guiatao Clan, a female firbolg druid, joined the battle, swiftly followed by the father. Together, they repelled the kidnappers and emerged victorious. The firbolg family expressed their heartfelt gratitude. During their nightly rests along the way, Geralt experienced a series of dreams, some of which offered glimpses of his enigmatic past, unraveling fragments of his memories. Among the dreams, he continued to encounter the raven, which seemed to be following him. In a particularly vivid dream, he discovered an unusual ability—to see through the raven's eyes.
After six mostly uneventful days of travel, they reached Nogvurot , the Empire's last line of defense before the capital. Opting for a few days of respite, they also considered taking on quick jobs to earn some coin. Geralt chose to stay in the luxurious Small Horn Inn , seeking comfort in unfamiliar surroundings, given his memory loss. Yinra, on the other hand, settled in the more casual inn known as The Dwarf and the Apprentice , where she stumbled upon intriguing job opportunities.
In the morning, after yet another mysterious dream, Geralt ventured to meet with Yinra. Together, they encountered a group of individuals interested in taking on a job. They ultimately decided to embark on a straightforward yet promising venture—monster hunting. Ako Stonemasher Dottatua , a stern and imposing goliath, recruited their aid to confront a menacing beast responsible for the troubling disappearances in the mines north of the city.
Their path now led them into the depths of a new adventure, brimming with mysteries to uncover and challenges to conquer.
