Session 2: The Pursuit of Nima Cinnarid and the Sinister Plot
General Summary
Our intrepid heroes set their sights on the home of Nima Cinnarid, located in the lower district of Hupperdook . Their journey took an unexpected turn when they clashed with a group of kobolds who appeared to be attempting to replace the gnome in some dubious scheme. A thorough search of the premises yielded a crucial discovery—a piece of parchment containing a map and a cryptic note, which hinted at a hidden entrance behind a waterfall atop the mountain of Hupperdook.
Undeterred, our party embarked on a strenuous hike up the mountain, successfully uncovering the clandestine entrance. Inside, they encountered an astonishing sight—Nima Cinnarid, chained and guarded by the formidable female goliath, Sken Zabriss , along with a contingent of kobolds. A battle ensued, and our heroes valiantly overcame the kobold threat and managed to subdue Sken without taking her life. Their rescue mission was successful, but Nima expressed her desire to return to Hupperdook, unwilling to delve further into the cave sealed behind a massive steel door. Returning to Hupperdook, Sken was promptly incarcerated, and the adventurers were duly rewarded for their efforts. During this time, they gleaned crucial information: Sken was merely a henchman to a mysterious figure named Huron Stahlmast , a former scientist who had been exiled from the city. Disturbingly, it appeared that Huron was plotting something significant against the people of Hupperdook. In light of this revelation, Watchmaster Bram approached our newly formed allies, urging them to halt Huron's sinister plans and promising handsome rewards for their assistance.
