Session 1: A Raven's Perilous Flight and Geralt's Awakening

General Summary

Amidst the tumultuous war that gripped the sprawling continent of Wildemount , a raven soared through the skies, bearing witness to the relentless conflict that raged below. The lands were ablaze with strife, and the raven's watchful eyes captured the chaos. Yet, amidst this turmoil, our hero, Geralt , awoke to a bewildering scene. He found himself confined to a moving cart, his hands and legs bound in heavy shackles, with no memory of the events leading to this moment. In his dire predicament, Geralt was not alone; four other prisoners shared his cart.
With a stroke of luck and the timely aid of a mysterious figure named Shakäste , Geralt, along with Domitia and Grumbar , engaged in a fierce battle against the goblins who had captured them. Among their adversaries stood a colossal wolf, revered by the goblins. Tragically, Ian, a fellow human, met his end during the skirmish. After receiving Shakäste's assistance, the survivors parted ways with him and embarked on a journey that led them to the nearest town, Hupperdook .
As they entered Hupperdook, a cacophony of explosions on the town's eastern side drew their attention. Racing toward the commotion, they encountered a horde of kobolds in hot pursuit of a female goliath. Amidst the fray, some of the kobolds met a fiery end, exploding seconds after their defeat. The goliath, however, managed to evade her pursuers with the help of a mysterious fog cloud.
Now united, this band of adventurers found themselves entrusted with a critical task by Watchmaster Bram Gulchswattle—to locate and recapture the escaped prisoner, Sken Zabriss .
Their pursuit brought them into contact with Yinra Emberwind , a skilled bounty hunter who had arrived ahead of them. Suspicion arose as Yinra displayed an unusual eagerness about her findings. Cleverly, Domitia managed to discreetly pilfer a vital clue from her possession. After an exhaustive search throughout the town, the adventurers finally took a well-deserved rest for the night.
In the midst of slumber, Geralt experienced the first of many vivid dreams—an image of his mother's face, and the revelation of her name.
With the dawn of a new day, the group gathered the clues they had collected. These pointed them in the direction of a gnome munition expert, Nima Cinnarid—a new chapter in their unfolding adventure.
