House Truscan

Sydnock Truscan

King Willamar Dwendal established the initial prominence of House Truscan and granted them oversight of the Truscan Vale, to the displeasure of the other noble houses. The head of the house is Sydnock Truscan (Lawful evil, male human), who also serves the Dwendalian Crown. The Truscan family are longtime allies of the Dwendalian bloodline, and Sydnock managed to advance his family's influence within the empire above most other noble houses. Rising to become the Prime Arbiter of Rexxentrum, Sydnock has the final say on all matters of law that do not require the king's attention. Of similar age to King Dwendal, he stands tall and thin in immaculately tailored garments of silver silks, jeweled epaulets, and billowing sleeves. He has pale skin and very tightly trimmed hair on top of a clean-shaven, if intense and judging, long face. A brutal man with a grudge against religious empowerment, Sydnock is constantly attempting to sniff out corruption within the approved structure of worship within the empire.

Esperanza Acheros

Esperanza Acheros is Sydnock's wife. Will write more later.

Lydia Truscan

The couple's estranged daughter, Lydia Truscan (Neutral Good, female human), abhors his ruthless methods and now lives in Zadash as an advocate for civilian rights. She is "very nice, very pretty, and a bit bookish" and newly steadfast in her ideals in favor of religious freedom. Her weakness is that she still sees herself as nearly invincible; after her sister went missing, she became the sole heir to the Truscan fortune after all. But her political activism has caught the eye of various groups, including those who may intend to silence her should too many people begin to listen.

Katara Truscan

Katara Truscan is an enigma in the public eye. The couple happily announced the birth of another daughter after Lydia, but she quickly vanished from the people's minds after no more word came of her for months. Then, about two years after the announcement, Sydnock announced his sudden divorce to Esperanza. Will write more later.

Amanni Truscan

Although her ideals are more in line with the apex of the house, Sydnock's younger sister, Amanni Truscan (Neutral Evil, female human), does not desire the same degree of power that Sydnock holds. Instead, she is satisfied with micromanaging the Truscan Vale and keeping a watchful, overbearing eye on the settlements of the Vale. (appearance based on Alyssa Sutherland) Her permanent residence, Truscan Manor, is located in Deastok, although she makes frequent visits to the sister city of Kamordah.
The family generally has dark brown hair and dark green eyes with flecks of silver or gray. They usually have pale white skin, indicative of life mostly spent indoors and without much struggle. In addition, they are usually very skinny, nearly gaunt-looking, when they are not trying to project their authority.

Family Seal

On all the letters they send out, and on the armor of their personal guard, is the Truscan seal: a depiction of two sister cities can be seen. In between them is a large letter T fashioned into the form of a tree.
