Over 80% of the world's life is killed off
The plague spares nothing, killing off plants, animals, and mortals alike. This throws the balance of elements off leading to horrible storms, drought, fires, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Terrestrial Gods left without worshipers are forgotten and die off by the thousands. Elementals are left without masters, and - unable to fulfill their given tasks - are driven mad.
