Personal history

Philip is the one and only son of the Queen of Hearts, his father is whispered to be Odbert Knave, better known as the Knave of Hearts. Which is the truth, but nobody says it outloud. Or when they do they loos their heads, thanks to his mother.
Philip has a strained relationship with both his parents, he doesn't believe in the mantera

It is better to be feared then to be respected or loved.

But he is wise enough to keep that opinion to himself, because in the end he wants to keep on breathing. Then there is also the fact that his mother sees him as a threat to her reing, which is valid, because he is the next in line. But he gives the impression that she has nothing to fear, because he is to much focussed on his hobby creating antidotes. Something that is needed because the Mad Hatter is experimenting with poisons.
