Vinura-Dekai

The Vinura-Dekai, often called Lizardfolk by other species, are reptilian humanoids native to the northeastern rainforests of Illiria. They are often associated with secrecy or stealth, and are frequently employed by the Empire as spies.
Vinura-Dekai stand between six and seven feet tall. Like Kobolds, they are covered in scales of a variety of colors. Unlike some other sentient races, Vinura-Dekai do not have distinct ethnicities, but they are a species of high variance. Common differences include spike growths, feathers, frills, horns, and broad feet. Though called Lizardfolk by outsiders, they are closer to dinosaurs in appearance than true lizards. 
From a societal standpoint, the Vinura-Dekai tend to avoid the other races and try to keep the knowledge of their society's inner workings from outsiders. They are known to worship the Fifteen while paying tribute to nature spirits through specific rituals. The secrecy of the Vinura-Dekai has given rise to a great many rumors about them, most commonly that they eat humans or that they have poisonous skin.
