The People's Revolt
The People's Revolt was the conflict that began the Gwelin War for Independence. It started as a general strike among the Half-Elf laborers of logging colonies in The Snowlands (what would later become Ter Eira), and escalated into a full siege of the appointed governor's manor that lasted for weeks. Survivors of the resulting slaughter would go on to form The People's Army and begin the largest rebellion against The Empire at the time.
