Soul-Shield of Dark Isle

Soul-Shields are tower shields made of Living Bronzeand made exclusively for use by the Black Army of Valor. They are rounded at the top and have extremely sharp edges. The most noteworthy feature of the shields in that they bleed and scream when struck. They are covered in runes in the ancient Kene Asha language that describe each soldier to have used the shield. The shields are of religious significance to the Black Army, who believe that their souls are stored in the shield forever, so that they will always serve in the protection of Dark Isle. The shields are so culturally important to Dark Isle that Dhampir nobles are frequently willing to trade enemy POWs for getting the shields back.
