Scuttlesheep

Scuttlesheep are crab-like animals that live in caves or city ruins. They are prized for their exotic colors of wool and unique taste.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Scuttlesheep have eight limbs, six of which are used for movement and two for grasping. The movement legs are long and segmented, allowing the animals to move sideways like crabs, hence the name. The grasper limbs are asymmetrical, one being a crab-like claw and the other being a human-like hand. Like spiders, scuttlesheep have eight eyes that blink in unison and are essentially one giant pupil. The sheep grow a soft wool that they naturally shed, often in strange colors.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

In addition to their eight eyes and excellent sense of hearing, scuttlesheep are capable of psionically communicating simple ideas to one another, their handlers, or their prey. This is limited to thoughts such as "run", "food", or "danger". The sheep are capable of turning this force into a stunning weapon when provoked, causing immediate depression or fear in their targets. As such, scuttlesheep ranchers are often possessed of an impressive willpower.
