Mage Guitar
Mage Guitars are metallic stringed instruments with between four and eight strings. The instruments produce flat, generally unpleasant tones until used in conjunction with a Mana Battery. Using the battery as a focus, a device on the back on the guitar creates a magical connection between bard and instrument that results in harsh, resonant tones louder than any mundane instrument could produce. They are a popular choice with Halfling bands, especially groups that identify as part of the Metal Sound Movement, named for the devices.
