Jublinex' Traveling Carnival of Dreams
The Carnival of Dreams is a traveling show made up of dozens of entertainers from across the multiple planes. The Carnival's wagons appear at new locations randomly, independently of the desires of the performers. The legend of the Carnival has attracted quality performers, who rarely pass up an opportunity to join. It is commonly referred to as a show fit for the gods. The ringmaster tends to understand the economic capabilities of each place they land and charges entry fees accordingly. The mystical parts of the show connected to the magical tents and wagons refuse to perform if no fee is paid. Not even the ringmaster understands the wishes, needs, or even abilities of the Carnival. The number of wagons and booths, and the size and number of the seats of the performance tents, is always sized exactly what they need to be.
Among standard exotic beasts, acrobats, jugglers, and jesters, the Carnival boasts new plays and songs, art galleries, magical curiosities, and technological marvels. Booths sell treats and sweets and toys from all across the planes.
Purpose / Function
To provide entertainment for a fee.
Architecture
The show is defined by pink and purple striped wagons and red and yellow striped tents and blue and orange striped booths. Everything is large and bright, but at the end of the day a wagon is a wagon and a tent is a tent. The wagons and booths are decorated with curled and painted bits of wood.
History
The Carnival only started appearing about seven hundred years ago, though the original performers insisted they had been performing for decades. The incredible show slowly attracted new acts and workers wherever it went, and to this day remains the most varied and incredible traveling show.
