Axe of Eternal Glory

The Axe of Eternal Glory is one of the Artifacts of Skaldor and the first to have been created. It was crafted by the master smith Xi Shan the Brilliant. 
The Axe is said to inspire the bearer's troops to high morale. No soldier who sees the light shed by this weapon will break so long as it is on their own side. Furthermore, the Axe was reported to feed on the concept of glory. With each victory, it's effect would grow more powerful, but with each defeat it would go back to it's default state. As with all such artifacts, it's fate is ultimately unknown, but it certainly has popped up time and time again over the centuries according to those that research such things. It was used in no less than four different Gnollish rebellions, the Winter War, and of course the Breaking of the Empire. It was last confirmed nearly ninety years ago, in the hands of the barbarian chieftain who led the Great Bear Clan to victory over the rest of the Spear.
