Alchemical Lantern

Alchemical Lanterns are glass enclosures build around crystals made to glow when in the absence of light. They come in a variety of colors and are not subject to the changing of the moons, as the mechanism for light is an enchantment rather than true fire. Despite the name, Alchemical Lanterns are magical rather than alchemical in nature. Multiple popular variations exist, such as models that change color on command or cycle through colors randomly, models that are brighter or dimmer than standard, or the infamous Thief's Lantern, which is the magical equivalent of a hooded lamp.
