Background: Hailing from the floating isles of Zuthea, a 10-year old Langdon discovered a mysterious gem and upon picking it up immediately filled him with magical energy. Rushing home frightened, Langdon found himself unwelcomed by the clan’s alpha, who had sensed a change in the young gorilla and had him casted out.
  Langdon struggled alone and hopeless, until he meets a Human Artificer, Professor Thomas Gunder, an outcast in his own science community, who took him in and shared his love for knowledge and tinkering. Langdon spent the next several years under the Professor’s tutelage until Thomas Gunder succumbs to a terminal disease. Thomas Gunder’s parting words revealed he was searching for the mythical ruins of (NAME) but hopes Langdon will live his own life instead of dying for an obsession like he did.
  Not long after, however, a Vistani Hunting Party raided Langdon’s home, stole all the Professor’s research and threw him in a cage. During the voyage, the awakened gorilla escaped his monkey-nappers and fell into the sea in Evermore. He drifted his way to the shores of Candleridge, where he was picked up and later employed by Hatchet. He started his first day as inventory mover until two humans and a halfling walked in with a knocked-out soldier….
