Hierarchical ranking of Wizards:

• ⁠Hedge-mage
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Apprentice (levels 1-2)
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Initiate (3-4)
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Journeyman (5-9)
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Elder (10-12)
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Master (13-15) - only the absolutely most skilled wizards and other magic-users are in this range. Dean Gabe Windsworth is a Master
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Grandmaster - (16-19) - Berkley Sandcrest, Provost of the Avium is a Grandmaster
• ⁠⁠⁠⁠Archmage (20) - No one in recent memory has obtained Archmage. Perhaps a book from ages past has this information?
