Puffdine Orchid
In the jungle of Damus, many colorful flowers open their petals, the largest of them is the Puffdine Orchid.
This plant climbs the trunks of the huge trees and has adapted to the lack of sunlight: instead of photosynthesizing and symbiosis, obtains its own food. The smell of the flowers lures the herbivores close to the orchid's huge, suction disc tentacles, which wrap around the pray, tears its skin open and suck its body fluids. Although the orchid is not picky when it comes to food, the humanoids living on the continent know its nature and are able to not only avoid, but also repel this creature.
The Puffdine Orchid senses movement but has no sense of sight. Its tentacles wrap around any creature or object it touches first. The Beastman therefore trow tree branches or fallen logs at the tentacles, and the plant does not realize that it has been outwitted for many minutes, it struggles with the fake prey. During this time, the jungle dwellers can pick the orchid flowers, which they use in many ways.
The Beastman dries the bright purple, blue and pink petals of the orchid, then crushes them to make paint. This is how they color their clothes, armor and many their hair. Some Bugit tribes use the petals to make clothing directly from them.
Puffdine orchids are plants, but with their tentacles they are able to migrate from tree to tree if they didn't find enough food. Although they mostly live in the central, desolate parts of Damus, they occasionally crawl into a hunting party's camp or approach a Beastman settlement.
The surest weapon against the orchid is the fire, but no one unnecessarily endangers the forest if they have strength to cut the coiling tentacles with axes. The plant is also sensitive to magic, so the spells known by the locals can also prove to be an excellent defense. The easiest way to shake off the Puffdine Orchid, though, it is to throw something at it that it can hug while you run away.

Your English is good! I especially liked the way to deal with it: throw something at it and run away! It is creepy that it can move if needed!
Thank You!
