Mountains of Utea

Valena Mountains

Drauz Mountains

This mountain range is located on the northeastern border of Zililon and the southwestern border of Nehalenor. In terms of its rock, it is different from the Arbane mountains. The black rocks of the Drauz are volcanic and have remained unchanged since Evera's creation. In their depths are many ores and jewels. Copper, silver, and iron are its main ore resources, and the copper deposits also stained the water of the Green River that originates from here. Among the peaks of the Drauz, the Mistic elves, the Narmiron elves, and once also the Dwarves opened a mine. In the Secon Era, a Dwarven city was built deep in the mountains, courtesy of the Torefir clan. The tragic fate of the Mathno Entheas and its inhabitants was only discovered in the Fourth Era (see: Massacre at Mathno Entheas - coming soon).

Arbane Mountains

Disir Mountain

The Compass Mountain. This lonely mountain once was the biggest volcano in the land of Zililon. When Jomril had curbed the continent's western volcanoes and sunk them deep into the earth, the mighty peak still rose above the horizon. Today the elves of Zillion use this peak to determine directions even in rainy weather. Disir has seemed calm on the surface for centuries, but deep down the volcano is still active. There are many ores and gems in the rocks waiting to be unearthed. One of Zilion's largest mines is located on the south side of the Disir on the shores of Lake Ilk.

Barehills

These sky-high, barren, and gray rocks cast a shadow over Vasanna's eastern borderlands. The mountains reach the western border of the plateau of Mogeth.
Among the sharp stones, humans have opened several mines over the centuries, but they dare not dig too deep, because the dwarves are doing the same from the other direction. Digging into a dwarven city would be a diplomatic disaster. This is also why the kings of Vasanna allow the dwarven clans to open mining towns in the borderlands, taking care of the order and peace.
