Blue Death
This innocent-looking fish can grow up to four meters long, and its powerful venom can kill an adult man within minutes. If not disturbed, it hunts for smaller fish among Ilia Bay's reefs.
In case of danger, it withdraws to into cavities at the base of the coral reefs, and also lays its eggs there. The natural enemy of young specimens and unhatched offspring is the Blue Earthcat, which is apparently immune to the blue death neurotoxin.
Fishermen try to avoid this dangerous creature, preferring to release a netful fish back into the water, than encounter an older and larger specimen.
Since the Third Age, sailors in the islands have worn the colors of Blue Death to show to their opponents how dangerous they are.
