Neverwinter
Before The Calamity, Neverwinter was the wealthiest and most expansive city on Asera. During The Calamity, a crack opened up into another planes and released unknown magic into world of Eveon.
Now, Neverwinter is home to research and redevelopment. The city is mostly rebuilt besides the areas subject to research and development. Being a port city, it was not hard for the economy to kick off and rejuvenate funding for the city.
Demographics
All social classes, mostly Human and slightly less Elves but a mix of all other races.
Government
Neverwinter is ruled by a King. Dorian Astor. The king oversees all decisions in the city and appoints people as leads in different areas. Some notable leads are, Quincy Strain head of research and development. Lucille Newmont head of trade and treasury. Howard Tate Captain of the Neverwinter Guards.
Defences
Watchwall surrounds the city and watches over the farms on the outside as well as the inside of the city.
Industry & Trade
Neverwinter makes most of its money from the passerby’s that’s stay at the inns and eat local food. Another way is through the port. Neverwinter is the largest port on the west coast and brings in almost all of the foreign trade from the west.
Infrastructure
Shard of the Night in the River District. Halls of Justice is in the Protectors Enclave District. Neverdeath is a graveyard that is overflowing since the Calamity. Clock Tower.
Architecture
The architecture of the buildings is a mix of wood and stone. The high class areas have more stone and brick with fine carved treated wood. Also wealthier areas are lit with magic bulbs and not torches.
Geography
Neverwinter River runs down the middle of Neverwinter and runs into the ocean. The city sits on a small collection of hills.
Natural Resources
Farms are all around the outside of the walls due to the expansive plains.
