Gustav Präparatoren — born Gustav Tuchhandler — was the Spymaster of Aldebrand Ludenhof, and one-time Steward of Fort Schippel. Gustav was a large man, known for being an accomplished hunter and obsessive taxidermist. During (and since) the Storm of Chaos, Gustav led a band of Hochland State Soldiers — the 2nd Hergig Rangers — infamously known as Gustav's Mongrels.
As a Spymaster, Gustav preferred poisons and open threats to achieve his goals, as well as relying on a network of spies. His method of control largely relied upon multiple self-reliant fail-safe plots, each of which hinging on his own actions to prevent disaster in the event of his death.
He was killed by Wolfram Becker on Konigstag 30th Jahrdrung, 2524 IC, within the catacombs of Fort Schippel.
