Speakers of Evaia
An ancient religious order that acts on the behalf of Evaia. The speakers of Evaia have representatives in most settlements of town size and larger. The representatives act as mediators during inter settlement conflicts and remind all of the gifts given by Evaia.
Structure
Listener - is spoken to and recognized by Evaia herself. Although Evaia may speak to others as well. The listener is the elected voice of Evaia.
Speaker - the archbishops of the Speakers of Evaia. Anywhere that the Listener is not concerned, the Speakers handle.
Representative - represent the Speakers, when required, the Speakers send their representatives away from Liodra to handle various tasks.
Mediator - mediates disputes between settlements. Mediators live at the actual location that they represent.
Apprentice Mediator - The Mediator's bitch
Caretaker - The first rank of the Speakers of Evaia, gain renown within the organization by taking care of Evaia, solving disputes, etc.
History
When Evaia came out of her stupor and blessed or cursed the denizens of her body. She tasked each race an environment to look after and protect. To the Aasimar, she tasked with looking after the various races. With each generation, she chose a representative that spoke on her behalf so that there would be no quarrels about what her will was. Overtime, the Organization, The Speakers of Evaia, was developed around the Listener.
Military
The Speakers of Evaia have a frightening military, but usually call to arms other military's closer to the conflict to fight in the name of Evaia.
Foreign Relations
Each race has it's representative. The cursed races are looked down upon. The Aasimar consider themselves to be the favored children of Evaia (which was at least true for the beginning)
Divine Origins
When Evaia blessed the Aasimar, she told unto them what she required of them and those of the planet. Since then when needed, she will voice herself to the Listener of Evaia.
Tenets of Faith
- 1. Insure the purity of the various ecosystems.
- 2. War must be fought upon Stragos
Ethics
Evaia is an observer. She enjoys and plays a part in all aspects of life. Because of this, the Denizens of Evaia have free reign as long as they do not intentionally harm Evaia. Some take this to the extreme and vow never to eat plant life, while others understand that Evaia gives her children what they need to survive and grow.
As Evaia nurtures us, we too shall nurture Evaia

for minor cases, there is the Court of Evaia. The court judges have spent their lives studying the various decrees of Evaia throughout the ages to interpret and understand her way of thinking.
