Kimber

Kimber (a.k.a. Kim)

Kimber has grown up on the richer side of society. Her father, Sir Gladius, had been a great knight, thus the king gave him the title of a noble and placed him as duke over a small duchy, Gower. Kimber had the luxury of being a noble’s daughter, but they still were marked as one of the lesser influential nobles. Even though she lives as a noble she doesn’t totally feel comfortable about it. She can act the part, and knows all the rules and expectations, but deep down she finds it difficult to be around most other nobles.
When comfortable she can be very sensitive and kind toward others. She loves spending time doing her own thing, but enjoys company when she knows them well. But for the most part she acts tough and stubborn toward others. She’ll speak her mind and is very enthusiastic about what she sets her mind to.
As a child her cousin Zanth would often come and visit. Their fathers were siblings, but led very different lives. Zanth’s father was a horse breeder and lived near Ashton. They also were a lot poorer than Kimber's family. They loved going out to the woods on his visits to play.
