The Hidden God. The ultimate enigma. The Unspoken once had a name but since travelling to the deepest depths of the Maelstrom has long since lost it and does not care to remember. Unlike her sister, Exara, the Unspoken does not mourn the loss of her patron. She celebrates it. She sees the death itself as the ultimate expression of chaos, the last great victory of Oros against the rest of the multiverse. In doing so he showed the natural order to be a lie and the supremacy and inevitability of chaos. So she and her followers celebrate the death of her master endlessly as she sows chaos throughout every plane. To look upon her is to stare into the void itself and worshipping her is just as risky. Where she appears and what she does is equally likely to cause harm as it is to help but in the end it always serves the interests of chaos in its purest form.

Personal history

The Unspoken was born like any other Demigod, sired by Oros to maintain an emissary with Nemera and manage the ever shifting tides of the Maelstrom, and she was also one of the youngest and most devoted of her kind. While her counterpart, Mymos, would stick to the borders of the Maelstrom and bring chaos to other Planes the Unspoken would delve into the deepest depths of the pit that had once spawned the Twins and from which all creation was formed. She stayed for countless aeons bathing in the power of raw chaos and communing with the unknowable beings that dwelled there as it twisted and changed her beyond recognition. By the time she returned to the realms of her peers she no longer even remembered her name and even though every God still remembers the being she was none are willing to invoke her original identity. This change was unheard of in a God and gained the respect and attention of both Oros and the Twins whom she would still pledge loyalty to even then.
Having become an entity of chaos the Unspoken was enraged by the expansion of Axis that had occurred in her absence and her rallying cry would lead to the forces of the Maelstrom uniting against the false order they perceived. While she would be able to halt the growth of the city-plane she would be unable to destroy it entirely as the strength of a Demigod could not overcome that of another and Taemis was as much a bastion of order as she was a force of chaos. Despite this stalemate she is still well known for constant scheming to bring down the Plane and weaken the fabric of reality even with the relative peace that exists today. The Unspoken was not consulted on the creation of the Inner Planes and in fact had no desire to take part in the experiment, at least during its founding. Her only contribution to the mortal world would occur after its creation when she would inject some of the darkest secrets and maddening truths of reality into the fledgling world. As she had not been part of the creation process, her power was completely alien and incomprehensible to the beings that dwelled there and madness soon followed in the wake of her influence.
The other Gods were furious. This corruption of their work was the final straw and the looked to confront the Unspoken and either imprison or destroy her for her actions. Had it not been for the intervention of Oros and, more importantly, the Twins who argued that the madness she had inflicted made the world more unpredictable and more entertaining for them all. Despite not approving of the reasoning no God would oppose the will of the Twins and the Unspoken returned to the Maelstrom freely. She remained there for much of the rest of history and ignored many major events such as the Angelic Civil War and the birth of the Living Gods. Her reappearance would only be brought about by the most major, and chaotic, event as Oros was slain by the Slayer. The death of her father compelled her to return to the Planes and once more involve herself with the greater world.
The Unspoken was expected to be dismayed by the death of her father as her sister had been but instead reacted by laughing. The world had been thrown into absolute disarray by the loss of a Great God and she could not help but revel in the chaos that had been inflicted that caused even the other Gods to be concerned. The ultimate truth of reality had, at least in her eyes, been laid bare and the facade of order had finally been stripped away. She came to celebrate and thank her father for his service in the opportunity that now presented itself, seeing his death as something he had orchestrated to achieve this result. She decided that no more would she remain in the Maelstrom for it was finally time to spread the word and bring an eternal celebration to the rest of the world, primed for her message by despair and fear. And so she continues to spread madness and chaos wherever she goes, her endless celebration bringing in the lost and broken and helping them realise that in the end, nothing had ever mattered. So why not have fun instead.
