Demographics
The population is made up primarily of Humans, Grey Orcs, and Halflings. Some of the minorities include Tabaxi, Centaurs, High Elves, Green Orcs, Half Orcs and Half Elves.
Government
This city-state is run by a council elected by the mercantile class. This group is re-elected every three years, and one must be a member of a merchant guild and have at least 30 000 gp in their accounts.
Defences
The city is surrounded by several clay-brick walls, all of which are manned by a host of Hobgoblin mercenaries. These walls have several bastions upon them that support artillery positions.

The city is surrounded by several villages that are dedicated to mining one of the several abundant ores
Infrastructure
The city is surrounded by several mining and farming villages ( the farming villages utilize irrigated plains to grow crops). The city also has a fair sized port.

If one needs to pawn off a magic item, or acquire one, Aleska’s Appraisals is a good place to go. It is a place that many strange relics can be found, and sold.

Praad Prospecting Inc is the premier guides-men organization in all of Kahi'ore. This corporation regularly guides adventurers and merchants across the Scorching Wastes, and some rich travellers to the Invisible Sea.
The Oukrashen Chateau is a beautiful inn that rests in the middle of a fair sized estate along the eastern cliffs. It's a converted merchant estate, and is full of many beautiful terraces and the like. The views of the sunsets are spectacular. Many of the wealthy from across Eukrosh and Xerok rent out large parts of this estate for weddings or large celebrations.
In the harbour district there is a large cog that has several decks and two floors of additional built on top of it. It is built into the inner docks, and is the home of the Cargohold, a large general store. It also sells many exotic materials.
Tourism
To the south-west of the city lies the Gate to the Scorching Waste. It is a free standing arch that is oriented to keep travellers along a path that has deep wells established along it. Straying from this straight path can see those travellers wandering in the dry brush fields, until their thirst kills them.
Architecture
All structures have an air of prestige, and nothing is left "unpolished". They are made primarily of lime-mortar and clay from the local turf. It is inline with Khorasani style of Persian architecture.
Geography
The city rests at the end of a narrow bay. To the east is Savannah land, while the west and north lies the low rolling hills and dry brush land.
Natural Resources
The rocky coast is full of iron, aluminum, tin and copper deposits; as are the hills to the West.
