The Kingdom of Azazara (Aza zara)

The Kingdom of Azazara

The Kingdom of Azazara is a place up on the northern tip of Midala. Azazara is a partially snow-covered region, mainly along the northern coast. It is not uncommon, however, to see snow throughout the city year round. The architecture here is much more modern, Azazara being the most technologically developed city. The architecture here is built using many metals and arcane stone in order to make its staple on the world. This city is also compromised of many marvels of technology, such as the massive arcane screens of water. These are used to display advertisements for the biggest merchant chains or bounty hunters. Azazara is considered the pinnacle of Euclidia, and rightfully so, due to these massive technological advancements.

The Kingdom of Azazara is ran by the king and queen Azazara. The king and queen do many dealings with the rest of the world, due to the immense technological advancement of the kingdom. Azazara distributes certain technologies and schooling to the rest of the world, and the king and queen are in charge of the operations. KING DESCHT married a lower class woman after spending countless evenings in the countryside and observing how the living conditions were. This gave way of a change in King Descht's views, and so he married QUEEN AURICHT.

Technology

The technology of Azazara is based around a special rock called Plumerock, which is both mined and enhanced at the DAJONI FACTORY on the southwestern portion of the city. Plumerock is used in the majority of the mechanisms and vehicles used throughout the city. Many people do not have access to these vehicles, as they are mostly used in public transportation. However, the city is built to handle those who can afford such personal vehicles, called Plumemobiles. The other major vehicles that use Plumerock are trains and airships. The government system here is constantly on a crackdown in the city for illegal dealing of quantities of Plumerock.

Plumemobiles are typically 4 wheeled vehicles that look like horse drawn carriages, without the horses. Most of the royalty owns these vehicles but the majority of the upper class also owns these vehicles. Typically, these are made using special arcane engines. They come in many varieties and configurations, and are made along with all other uses of Plumerock in Dajoni Factory.

Trains are vehicles that assist in helping people get from place to place, Running off of these arcane engines. Trains use a much larger quantity of Plumerock, and this requires much larger and aerodynamic vehicles to be created. Running off of a rail system, these massive machines are sleek, and consume a lot of power. In the Kingdom of Azazara, there is a subterranean train system to get across the large city easily, but there is also a large station in the center of the city that branches out to the rest of Midala. The other continents do not have as many trains as Midala does, but they are still present. Azazara has influenced much of the other nations and continents due to this specific vehicle.

Skyships are ships that travel the skies. these are very rare to see, and not many are in the world. The reason for this is due to the massive amounts of Plumerock that need to be used in them. Trains require a large amount, but nothing near as much as skyships. Skyships also use even more power to run than trains, making them extremely expensive. Skyships alone cost around a few million in gold to construct, taking a lot of the city's money to do so. Only about one skyship per two years is usually built because of this. Currently there are only 8 in existence. Azazara has ownership over these ships, and other continents have catered their major cities to house a skyport. Skyships are about 10 times faster than normal ships, so it is the optimal way to deliver goods in a quick period of time.
