Taria

On the western border of Weismark, nestled within the towering mountain range that vertically bisects the empire is the province of Taria. One of the oldest human nations on Ettor, Taria was built on a strong military tradition, one that carries on to this day. Taria supports a heavy middle class with plenty of trade businesses running in the large metropolitan centers throughout the central region of the country. Every Tarian citizen is forced into compulsory military service lasting at least four years. While many turn this service into a life-long career, others are quick to fulfill their duty and begin their preferred lifestyle. This province serves as the first line of defense against a land-based invasion of Weismark from the south and west with many of its fortress-cities having been built in strategically important locations, most notably its capital city of Vrond.

Geography

Taria is almost entirely contained within the Himmelfjall mountains. The vast majority of major population centers are nestled within the mountains, with only a few dozen small towns residing in the small area within Taria's borders at the base of the Himmelfjalls.
