Vrond

Vrond, Taria's stalwart capital city, is a towering stone bastion nestled within the most heavily trafficked pass in the province. It was built to withstand the most unrelenting siege, and acts as Weismark's primary defensive barrier from invasion from the west.

Vrond sports two layers of tall stone walls that dwarf the surrounding landscape, providing a nearly impenetrable line of defense against any land based invasion. Coupled with the labyrinthine mountains that the city is built into and the city's infamous corps of mountaineers and rangers constantly scouting the region, Vrond is any attacking force's worst nightmare.

Despite its fortress-like construction and its militaristic culture, Vrond is also a bustling center of trade, as nearly all caravans moving between Lothengrad and the western provinces pass through Vrond's gates.
