Sir Edgar Velsemonte

Sir Edgar Velsemonte of Temrei is a famed Knight of Alsindr and loyal right hand of Rector Emmerich. Sir Velsemonte is charged with the protection of Lady Frida Danzaisen, the last living descendant of the divine family, the great granddaughter of Aesvir the Mad. Famous for his imposing appearance, stoic nature and signature black armor and weapons, Velsemonte is both respected and feared across the Empire for his skill in combat.
He wields a large greatspear and tower shield, both made from the same rare, black metal as his armor. Velsemonte is known to many who see him as the Raven Knight, a fitting, but inaccurate title he was given for his appearance. His armor is adorned with the feathers of a black Griffin, taken from a Sarkovan Griffin Rider during the Weissic Kessian War, though it is assumed at first sight by the common Weissic to be the feathers of a giant raven.
