Aesvir

Aesvir, also known as Aesvir the Mad, is the disowned son of the god of war Einbrandt, who lived nearly four thousand years ago during the Age of Strife. Though born a human, he elevated himself to a level of power fitting for the title of Vellyr, achieving immortality and more during his time on Ettor. He is easily the most controversial figure in the Weissic faith, known for tremendously good deeds as well as unspeakably terrible ones. Aesvir is widely considered to be the undisputed most powerful user of magic and psionics to ever live, a gift that was responsible for his greatest achievements and his eventual decline into madness. He paved the way for humanity's modern understanding of science and medicine, though the methods he employed to make those discoveries will forever be a stain on human history. The vast majority of the history surrounding Aesvir has been scrubbed from history, kept locked tightly away in records accessible to a mere handful of individuals, though the echoes of his deeds can still be felt.
