Old Weissic Religion

The Old Weissic religion, as it is called by foreigners, has no name in Weissic. Its teachings are so historically ingrained into Weissic society that it is one in the same with the culture of the north. It is followed by most Weissic humans, as well as most Kenku and Giants. To most, it is simply the worship of the Vellyr, divine beings of immense power that the majority of the Wessic peoples believe to be the forefathers of Ettor. The Vellyr is the collective name for a large number of deities, both good and evil, and everything in between. First, there are the Greater Vellyr - five immensely powerful beings; Lutar, Nenos, Vaskke, Narva, Hev-Silde, Einbrandt and Aesvir. Then there are the Lesser Vellyr, a collection of minor and quasi - deities that are markedly less powerful, but equally revered and far more numerous.
