Knights of Alsindr

The idolized faction of knights who have pledged their lives to serving the Emperor of Weismark. Each member is a highly trained warrior specially selected for the role. As part of the ritual to join their ranks, each Knight of Alsindr has consumed a drop of Alsindr's blood, gaining immeasurable physical and magical power along with changes to their physical appearance.
The Knights are not simply an elite military unit. In addition to guarding the Emperor himself, they also deal with hunting down enemies of the Empire deemed too dangerous for normal soldiers to handle, such as powerful outsiders. Their weapons and armor are all unique, each forged and enchanted to fit the Knight’s specifications. A Knight of Alsindr in person is a rare sight, and usually a foreboding one due to the nature of their work.
