The Old Bridge
The Old Bridge is a large aqueduct-like structure north of Wildermore that lies within The Westwood.
History
The Old Bridge was built long before human and halfling settlers came and settled the region. Located just inside The Westwood, it is used mostly as a landmark to assist those contracted by The Order Alchemia to gather alchemical reagents in the woods. Its architecture is completely unknown in nature, and doesn't resemble any other style found in this region.
Despite its use as a navigational aid, even experienced adventurers and mercenaries are apprehensive about the structure, and seldom venture close to the structure unless they absolutely have to. Several whole expeditions of adventurers have been lost exploring the bridge with no survivors. The rescue teams that weren't lost trying to track down and recover the lost adventurers report no signs of struggle or strange behavior until reaching the bridge, where the tracks suddenly disappear.
