Enchantment

Enchantment magic is a school that deals almost entirely with placing limitations upon the minds of creatures, or enthralling them to act a certain way or regard the caster in a particular light. Whether by viewing the caster as a closely regarded friend, causing it to view its own allies as enemies, making a creature believe it has been paralyzed, or completely enslaving the mind of its target, an enchantment spell bends the mind and body of its target to the will of its caster.
The title for a mage who practices predominanlty enchantment magic is fairly unique in the fact that it differentiates slightly between masculine and feminine, with Enchanter being the former and Enchantress being the latter. Practitioners of enchantment magic often display stark ability to control their targets innately, being able to do so with a simple gaze that encapsulates the mind early on in their studies, while stronger enchanters can find attackers becoming unable to strike them as the latent charming effects protect them, or even splinter their spells into targeting two targets at once when they should only affect one. Master Enchanters can produce an effect rather similar to that of the Modify Memory spell, in which they cause a person to forget something, remember something differently, or create an entirely new memory. Quite fascinating.
Noteable spells of the Enchantment school are: Hold Person, in which a target is paralyzed, believing they cannot move, opening them up for deadly attacks, Command, in which a person is given a simple command that they follow immediately, and Dominate Person, in which a target's mind is completely bent to the will of the caster, becoming fully subservient to them until the spell wears off.
