Nature Warden

Qualifications

In order to acquire this title the person has to run through the career progression of the warden.

Requirements

Any species can acquire the title, but due to their bond to nature and the forest, nature wardens are mostly wood elves.

Appointment

The title is always conferred by the current nature warden of the location after completing the warden apprenticeship. It is granted through a ceremony in which the present nature warden hand down the knowledge on how to summon a feral warden.

Duties

The community has the moral expectation that a nature warden ensures that nature doesn't get damaged irreversibly. Because of that, the ethical obligations include watching over nature and animals to meet that expectation.

Responsibilities

The tasks and responsibilities correspond with the duties of a nature warden. Common tasks are:

• Watch over flora and fauna.
• Guide the community in their interaction with the surrounding nature and animals.
• Protect nature from irreversible damage.

The power is either inherited or passed down by the previous nature warden.

Length of Term

The title can be given to a person once and last for a lifetime. A warden can choose anytime to pass down the title to the current warden apprentice.
