Shadow Weaver

Shadow Weaver, previously known as Light Spinner, was a trained mage of Mystacor, who left the Sorcerer's Guild to join the Etherian Horde in 1992.

Personal history

Light Spinner was a member of the Sorcerer's Guild in Mystacor. In 1992, as the Etherian Horde began to gain power in Skaleria, Light Spinner proposed the use of a forbidden ritual to summon the power she believed was required to face this new threat. Barred from doing so by the guild, she performed the ritual in secret, alongside her student, the future King Micah of Brightmoon. The spell went wrong, and left Light Spinner permanently disfigured. She was caught by the leadership of the sorcerers guild, and Light Spinner made a pact with the summoned entity, now known to be Azvatis, murdering the Head Sorcerer of Mystacor, Norwyn, and escaping, before ending up in the Fright Zone and swearing her services to Hordak. Changing her name to Shadow Weaver, she served as Hordak's right hand in the Horde. Shadow Weaver oversaw the attacks on Candella and Halfmoon during her time as second in command. In 2020, she lost Hordak's favor to her ward, Catra Meowmeow, who betrayed her and took over as second in command, leaving Shadow Weaver a prisoner. Shadow Weaver escaped Horde Prison and became an ally to the Rebellion. She helped the Rebellion in the war against the Etherian Horde and eventually in the war against Horde Prime . She died in the final battle against Horde Prime, the same day he was defeated.
