First Ones
The First Ones are an alien race of intergalactic explorers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The First Ones were humanoid beings. Based on remains found on Etheria, the average First One is slightly taller than most humans. Many are believed to have had long hair on top of their heads, and some had facial hair as well, with hair colors ranging from blonde to brown. Their eye colors ranged from grey to blue.

History
The First Ones arrived on Etheria around 10,000 BK (Before Kingdoms). Ancient art shows images of their arrival through a portal.
Translated writings show how the First Ones began to set up communities, using advanced technologies, and study the Etheria's magic. Many of their largest historical sites were built around the strongest magical points on the planet: the Runestones. These sites became the foundations for many cities and villages still existing today.
Around the year 5,000 BK, First Ones writings reference an end of portals, and there are some records of many First Ones leaving Etheria.
Writings reference the "Great War", which the First Ones won in the year 130 BK, but there are no known details about the war itself.
The last evidence of the First Ones dates to the year 976 AK (After Kingdoms). The First Ones technologies were abandoned, and no new technology or writings are found after this date.
