The Tower of Mist

The Tower of Mist was the fortified outpost of the Fourteenth Fifteenth and Sixteenth Divisions. When General Ocatarion and the Fourteenth Division rebelled against the Republic of Etherea by stealing the ancient blade Radiance. This eventually led to the beginning of the War of the Radiance. When Octarion was defeated by armies of Etherea the death and destruction of the battle attracted several demons that burnt the tower to the ground.
Eventually the tower was rebuilt by the warlock Norvus with the help of demons that he summoned. Ever since it has been used to build an army to wipe out the humans on the mainland.

Purpose / Function

It was a built as a refuge for men in case the cities on the mainland were overrun by demons, in order to prevent a disaster like what happened to the city of Varnir.

Alterations

Norvus rebuilt the tower and the walls exactly as it was built but instead of stones being rune crafted the walls of tower were built with demonic magic making them even stronger than before. Norvus summoned mists around the tower to hide the island and the tower from human scouts.

Architecture

It consists of of a single tower two hundred feet high surrounded by a single wall that was twenty feet tall. Before the fall of the Fourteenth Division there was a beautiful garden inside the walls. Once Norvus rebuilt the fort no evidence of the garden was left.

History

The Fourteenth Fifteenth and Sixteenth Divisions were stationed at the island, but only the Fourteenth joined Octarion in his rebellion. The loyalty of the Fifteenth and the Sixteenth Divisions towards the Republic was a major factor in determining the victory of the Republic.

Tourism

I would not recommend this as a good place to go on a trip.
