Demons
Angels in service to the God Machine who have Fallen into their own freedom. The Demons of Ethan occupy a somewhat paradoxical niche: they are the oldest group of Shadows, boasting several members continually active longer than almost all Vampire's time under the night; and they are all transients, not a single Demon active in Ethan now, Fell in Ethan.

Common Etiquette Rules
Avoid the post office unless it is a necessary in-cover activity. Demons instead utilize courier services, drop-boxes and 3rd party shipping agencies.
Common Taboos
Demons do not Dream; the Mirrorlands are forbidden to them.
History
Demons have existed in Ethan since the founding of the city, coming with the earliest settlers even before the Night Web extended its tendrils this far out West. While several Shadow Scholars postulate that this means the Demons and Werewolves would have had to have some contact or prior relationship, neither group admits to any such thing. (More accurately the Demons have never admitted to it and no one has lived long enough to ask a Werewolf.) Since then, not a single Demon operating within Ethan has Fallen in Ethan. Instead, the Agencies recruit individuals based on their other talents from outside areas, requiring a certain need for worldly experience in order to properly do work within Ethan. In exchange, Angels that do Fall within Ethan are often sent elsewhere, since the God Machine makes great effort to wipe all knowledge of its workings in Ethan.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Demons retain one of the best relationships with the The Churches of Life; frequently the Sin-Eaters will provide valuable information on the Mirrorlands, often in exchange for trivial Contracts.
The Fallen also maintain good relations with the The Kindred Court, though such relationships are frequently unknown of and one-sided. Kindred manipulations into local affairs often leave gaps and opportunities for Demons to slide useful Covers or agents into, enmeshing themselves into the fabric of the City and increasing their ability to hide from the God Machine.
