The Churches of Life
"Churches of Life" is a loose naming convention employed by other Shadows with more rigid social structures to refer to the Krewes of Sin-Eaters that inhabit Ethan. It is, generally, only used by Sin-Eaters when talking to one of those other Shadows to declare their allegiances
Structure
Each Krewe establishes its own organization, and each Krewe has equal say or standing with one another, in theory. Most importantly, each Krewe donates members to the Peacekeepers. Sin-Eaters who are part of the Peacekeepers use that demonym to refer to themselves when introducing to other Shadows, as opposed to calling themselves members of the Churches of Life.
Territories
The Churches of Life hold the most concentration of assets within the Gayborhood, and generally if one is looking for a Peacekeeper (gay or straight), that's where most people start looking.
Foreign Relations
The Sin-Eaters have the best relationship with the Demimonde as well as a passable relationship with the more human elements of the other Shadows. They frequently assist members of the Council of Birds by filling in for them during their mundane lives so they can go do "magey-things", and often find themselves approached by the Morphean Cluster for information about recent happenings in the Mirrorlands.
