Amber Crux

The Amber Crux is a well known mercenary group in The Empire of the Rune Keepers originally founded around the end of the Dungeon War, known to work for bed and board rather than coin or gifts, they do the work because they care. Ranging from clearing farmland from overgrown rodents to chasing off bandits and dealing with extraplanar threats associated to the Rifts and Crossings within the Empire.
They were at one point, seven in number. But after partaking in the Kasarian War and doing their part to liberate their homeland, six of the members were killed in combat with the Dragon, Duplicitos, in Gatewatch. The only survivor, was the Crux's leader Cel’dan Lathlin.
A successful reincarnation ritual was performed on one of the other deceased members after their remains were recovered, and Ju’huel Terrne was restored to life, albeit in a different form than before. The two of them survived the end of the war and set off together to rebuild what they'd lost, they have not been seen since.
