The rules for increasing your abilities with mana

Here you will learn the different levels of mana control, what is necessary to achieve this level, and what benefits come with it.
Each level new level of mana control is divided into a number of training sections.
A single training section requires 5 days of focused training under guided training.
At the end of each training section, you will gain the ability to recover an additional 1d4 of mana when you recover mana in the future.
You can only do so, one single time. Once the d4 is spent, it is gone until you complete your next training section.

What is mana control, and why do I need it?

Mana control is an advanced method of casting spells that is necessary in order to pull off advanced magic.
If you, for example, want to cast a spell on an object far away, you will need a lot of control in order for the spell to hit.
Or if you want to have a precise magical effect to happen on or within an object that is moving.
These kinds of spells are only able to hit and achieved their desired effect when you have enough control over your magic.
If you attempt such a spell without the necessary level of control, it is easy for the magic to be sucked out of you until no magic remains, or the spell might have horrible side effects.
Mages who focus on their mana control are often extremely powerful and capable of mage at way higher levels then what they should be capable of.

Mana Control Level 3

The benefits of this level are the following:

Mana Control Level 4

The benefits of this level are the following:
