During the Savage Era of Icevale, monsters and ghosts of all kind were roaming around the land, bringing destruction with them. The people had enough, and some decided to act radically.
The errant knight Ulric and some friends of his decided to go on a crusade against monsters, vowing to hunt them until they have all been eradicated. The inspiring speeches of Ulric encouraged the people to take arms and join them.
