A terrifying genetic disease that causes the flesh to blacken and deteriorate while the mind looses it's basic cognitive function, a dormant genetic virus that exist throughout out Vania created by The Priest of Thu'j, that is now within the very genetic code of all races and usually only affects the poor or middle class citizens.

Causes

the start of this genetic mutation is usually caused by a waning in manais energy in an area causing a dormant genetic virus to emerge and eradicate most sentient races expect for Mankind within an area of a manias energy wane

Symptoms

The first symptom is severe rash/mental confusion usually lasting three to five days, the next stage is a rapid increase of body temperature/heart-rate, that is usually followed by memory loss this stage last about one or three days. The very last stage is a rapid deterioration of the cellular structure,which makes the skin turn grayish black, within a couple of hours the victim eventually dies a painful death.

Treatment

this condition usually vanishes when manias energy returns though a wax of energy but can also be treated by Vanian hearts which is used to channel and amplify manais energy

The origin of this genetic mutation is dated back to the early days of Mankind where wielders of anti-realm particles known as dark sorcerers used a twisted version of manais energy to create a genetic fault in other races making them dependent on manais energy this was then followed by a lunar eclipse where the Priest of Thu'j used a vast amount of anti-realm particles and caused a world wide decline in manais energy this followed a massive assualt aganist many citadels, fortress, cities, and villages of the other races which where dyeing in droves due to the horror of this weapon the priest of thu'j and thu'j himself were eventually seen as a threat and the gods now weakened from there lack of immortality challenged and defeated thu'j at a cost of them selves this allowed manais energy to wax and healed all afflicted now a days this virus still exist but with very little effect but is still dreaded across the world
