Istuni
A genetically isolated population of humans who live deep underground. They once lived on the surface until a cataclysm some 1000 years ago at the end of a great war. Time within the magically infused cave networks of the world below-ground they became better adapted to the dark, and still maintained their human form. Hair blanched white, skin pale pink and slightly translucent, these humans are not well prepared for the surface world their ancestors were forced to leave behind.
Naming Traditions
Family names
Many families will use a patronymic or matronymic varying by region of origin. Others will use an epithetical or locational identifier, though this is becoming more exclusive to the upper class.
