Ophelia Wormwood

Royal Healer (formerly) Ophelia Adeline Wormwood

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Ophelia is healthy, but not very physically strong.

Mental characteristics

Gender Identity

Ophelia is a woman.

Sexuality

Ophelia is a lesbian. It took her twenty years to come to terms with this, however, thinking that her feelings about other women were something every heterosexual woman felt.

Education

Ophelia was educated by Rhiannon, an elderly fairy who taught her how to harness her magic. She is not the strongest writer, but can read in Elyrean relatively well.

Employment

Ophelia worked for the queen of Elyrea as her Royal Medic for 15 years before leaving Elyrea. After being enslaved by the Wessians, Ophelia worked as a camp follower for the Wessian army during the Wesso-Evonian war.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Ophelia is an incredibly magically powerful fairy. Her healing powers are unparalleled and she has been rightfully rewarded for it with her former position as Royal Healer to the Queen of Elyrea.

Failures & Embarrassments

Ophelia greatly regrets trusting Orion enough to marry him, though she is glad for it as it resulted in the birth of her daughter, Guinevere.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Ophelia desires an end to the war and safety and happiness for her daughter.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Ophelia is very magically talented, most proficient in healing magic specifically. She has difficulty with creating illusions.

Likes & Dislikes

Ophelia loves her daughter more than anything. She loves the woman who raised her, Rhea. She loves Vera, despite her best efforts. Ophelia likes children, gardening, embroidery, and cooking. She hates her husband Orion and dislikes the Queen of Elyrea. She dislikes violence.

Virtues & Personality perks

Ophelia is a kind, gentle woman with a strong motherly instinct. She cares deeply for everyone around her, especially her daughter. She is a very peaceful person and is slow to anger except when she or the people she loves are threatened. She is not afraid to protect herself and others and will do whatever she feels is necessary to do so.

Vices & Personality flaws

Though she cares about how her loved ones feel, sometimes she values her own perceptions of what they need and want over what they actually need and want. She is so afraid of losing those she cares about that she sometimes believes that she alone knows what’s best for a person and can act against their wishes if she believes that’s what would keep them safe. She can also be very overprotective over Guinevere, leading her to rebel and seek more independence from her.

Social

Speech

Ophelia has a soft, gentle voice. She has a strong Elyrean accent. She speaks kindly and gently to everyone except those that hurt her or others, especially people she cares about.
