Dire Wolf

Not to be confused with it's cousin the wolf, a Dire Wolf is at least twice the size and many times more vicious. Dire Wolves tend to live in smaller packs or alone, and will kill just about anything that crosses their path hungry or not. They are located primarily in central and northern Koljorn. They are also the steed of choice for Direlings, who have a strained relationship with their less intelligent relatives.
