Saints' War

The great war between the Empire of Yore and the Saints.
The conflict itself is viewed very different depending on which Church is documenting it. The Church of Solidus believes that Yora had become corrupt to the point where divine intervention was necessary. The Saints were sent down to Estemor to incite rebellion with the blessing of the Old Gods, who did not partake in the conflict directly.
The Church of Saints, views this as nearly heretical. The Old Gods had sought to control humanity through the formation of a grand empire to begin with, so Saint Milia and the other children gave the people freedom and started a revolution to eradicate anything that bore the enthrallment of the Old Gods, who bestowed various monsters and terrible weapons upon Yora in an attempt to destroy their children and the enlightened humans that fought with them.
