Summer Camp Prep 2026

Week 1 - Love

Assignment - Pledge your goal

Hopscotch - Create or update your world's meta

I've created a Meta for for my new world that I'm going to be writing my summer camp prompts in.

Week 2 - Growth

Assignment - Choose your area of focus

I am going to be focusing on one city in my world, instead of my answers to the prompts being vague and applicable to the entire world, they will be detailed and include things that don't necessarily affect anything majorly. This is because I usually get too focused on fleshing out the entire world that I forget about the small details like the everyday lives of the people that live in the world I've created. However, given that this is a new world, I will also be focusing on a few of the main parts that are needed for the world to exist, but I am going to try not to go further then the minimum that is needed, and instead create a functional city rather then a wider world.

Hopscotch - Make a list of concepts you'd like to explore

  • Shadow creatures
  • Shadow magic
  • Magical gems
  • Education
  • Crime

Week 3 - Loss

Assignment - Plan your writing time

I am going to aim to write a paragraph a day, but if I'm busy then I will try to do at least a sentence, set up an article, or plan in my head what I'm going to write.

Hopscotch - What is your typical create process and routine

My typical creative process is to create the ideas in my head when I'm bored, then sometime eventually get to writing them down. However, often they will just remain in my head which I why I like to do these challenged because they force me to actually write stuff down.

Week 4 - Family

Assignment - What's your goal as a worldbuilder

I am a worldbuilder because I have lots of stories in my head that I want to write down and expand.

Hopscotch - Which articles do you need to complete your creative goal

I need to write articles about the magic system of the world but other then that, any articles that I am inspired to write from the prompts.
