Neled Rís
The Neled Rís are the objects of Drow's faith. The dark elves consider them to be an intricate part of the world's fabric, unlike the gods worshiped by the other mortals who take on more personalized characteristics. The Neled Rís are inscrutable and have no canonical depiction; instead, the Drow use their domains as the focal point for their reverence.
Cosmological Views
It is believed that the Neled Ris were never born, or created. But that they arose with the world itself. Each of them is considered a fundamental feature of the world and therefore are less like Gods, and more like Concepts. From the moon and the feelings it evokes on all the elves dwelling in darkness to the idea of thoughts, the Ceaseless are responsible for it. The Drow hold steady respect and admiration for these beings who are beyond any rational understanding.
